Ty vystřihovánky jsou úžasný věci, kdysi jsem to podrobně zkoumal kvůli descentovi a rpg ... vypadá to velice pěkně a jednoduše, ale zatím jsem se neodhodlal to vyzkoušet ... ale na druhou stranu, za ty prachy, no nevím ... :-/

Space Hulk a přítelkyně
Zrovínka jsem narazil na "kouzelné" vyprávění, kterak jeden hráč dostal svou přítelkyni k hraní Space Hulku. Omlouvám se, ale přetiskuji to v originálním znění:

I brought down the box from the man room. Taking the Space marines out, laying out scenario one and scattering some Tyranids around on the tiles, the trap was laid. I set a few dice out, and pretended to thumb through the rules book. A few minutes later my fiancée wanders into the dining room.

”What’s that?” she asks.
“Oh this?” I asked nonchalantly, “It’s uh…Space Hulk, one of those plastic soldier games my brothers and I used to play.”
“Can I see those figs?” she asked.
“Sure babe, check’em out”

For a minute or two she looks over the marines and then wrinkles her nose up at the Tyranids.

“Those bugs are gross but the marines are cool! Are there any female marines?”
She’s close to springing the trap I can sense it!

“Yup, they make them, but I don’t have any.”
“Oh…so is it hard to play?”

BINGO! The trap was sprung! While having her move the marines around I explained the rules as we went. Hordes of bugs came boiling out of passages in the hulk and she clapped as she mowed them down. The chain sword armed Sergeant savaged 2 bugs in one turn before he was overwhelmed! DIE BUGS was shouted more than once! As the marines went down her lack of understanding regarding the importance of over watch caused some unnecessary loses.

“So I give up TWO action points now just so I can fire later?”
“Yes but you get to fire a lot in over watch!”
“But my gun could jam…NO WAY, I want to fire a lot NOW!” dice are chucked and more bugs fall to her fury!

Finally the Flame thrower marine was over come and the first game ended, a loss for the marines. I started to put away the bug figures.

“What are you doing?”
“Clearing the table and putting away the game.”
“Are you kidding? We HAVE to play again! Are there more missions than this?”
“Oh sure-I think I have about 50 or 60 different ones…”
“COOL! Can we get some female marines? Can you paint them for me?”
“Oh sure…I think we can make you a squad of female marines…”

Mission one was reset and with better use of overwatch fire she managed a victory. Space Hulk now owns the kitchen table. Tyranids and marines fight it out every night after dinner and female marines are on their way with a promise that “they will fight so much better against the bugs!”

YES gentlemen, another soul lost to the charms of painted plastic and the reptile brain reflex of Ameritrash game play: kill or be killed! The fact that it is a lovely female soul makes it all the better!

Carcassonne now sits abandoned on the book shelf by the Settlers who may have to wait awhile to find Catan again. The epic battle of insect and marines now commands the table…at least until the next cocktail party!

je to velice pěkný :) Jenom by mě zajímalo, co vzal za modely aby jí dal ty "ženský" mariňačky :))

Těžko, aspoň oficiálně. Ale neoficiální cestou se bude možné zcela jistě dostat k novým misím. Koneckonců je možné využít i z předchozích edicí.

Ale těžko říct, jak bude hraní vyvážené. Já si zkusil první misi v rámci kampaně Fangs of Fenris (s pravidly třetí edice) a bylo to prima!
